Wood vs Plastic Cutting Board Alternative Wood and plastic cutting boards are common, but both come with tradeoffs. Wood can absorb moisture, smells, and food juices. Plastic can stain and develop deep knife marks over time. Stony was created for home cooks who want a cleaner, more beautiful daily prep surface.
